About me
Jun is a writer, content creator, and comedian based in New York. Jun has experience in different fields including entertainment, comedy, cybersecurity, and marketing. After graduating from Boston College, Jun spent a few years in the startup scene before transitioning full-time to writing. His clips can be found on Screen Rant, Curiosity Shots, Write Label, Comedywire, and Consumer Impulse. Outside of work, he performs standup and writes sketch comedy. He is currently a member of a sketch comedy group with former UCB classmates. When the group's debut stage show at The PIT was canceled due to the pandemic, Jun shifted the group over to a virtual writer's room in order to shoot new sketches remotely. Jun is also spending time submitting television pilots to different competitions, and is part of a group of creatives working on an anthology television series focused on improving and highlighting South Asian representation in American media. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, writing, and re-watching old episodes of Avatar The Last Airbender. Feel free to follow him on Twitter at @jun_julyaugust.
